Wonderoos Comfort and Fit
The design of Wonderoos is second to none in terms of offering

Fit on a newborn

This life-size baby doll is equivalent in size to an real
baby of approximately 10lb (4.5Kg). Like many babies he is
not averagely proportioned. He has a tubby tummy and relatively
thin legs and bottom.

In the picture on the
left the doll is wearing a typical newborn-size disposable
nappy.
In the picture on the right he is wearing
a Wonderoos nappy adjusted to its smallest height but
the waist allows for his tubby tummy. For slimmer babies
the wings can be overlapped.
The Wonderoos gives a neat and comfortable-looking fit
compared with the disposable nappy.

The gentle leg elastic
of Wonderoos hugs the leg all round, giving a close
but gentle fit.
The elastic is encased in fleece so
nothing but the softest fleece cloth touches baby's
delicate skin.
No seams to dig in or rub baby.
Polyester fleece is not absorbent and
does not draw up liquid so will not leak. |

The unique design has a full strip of highly breathable fleece
all round the leg, allowing air to pass in an out of the nappy,
keeping the nappy area cool and allowing the skin to 'breathe'.

The view from underneath
shows how good the fit is all round baby's legs for
that all important containment of 'solids'!
The fleece lining can be allowed to
protrude from the back of the nappy to protect baby
from the elasticated seam. This provides additonal comfort
for baby who will spend a lot of time lying on his back. |

So does this nappy really
fit to potty training?
The picture shows a child of 4 years 3 months (51 months)
wearing a Wonderoos nappy. (Most children potty train
at around the age of 2 1/2 years / 30 months.)
The child is average height and muscular, with his
height at 50th centile and his weight at the 80th centile.
This means that 50% of children his age are same height
or shorter and 80% are the same weight or lighter than
him.
The Wonderoos nappy still fits him well enough to be
usable.
